Information regarding data protection and electronic communication
As of September 1, 2023, the revised data protection law will come into effect, which will entail adjustments regarding data protection regulations. Among other things, the sending of particularly sensitive personal data - such as health data - by unencrypted e-mail is not permitted.
We strive to make communication with you as customer-friendly as possible - while at the same time complying with data protection regulations. Therefore, electronic communication with our practice is provided as follows:
- Booking appointments
The easiest way to book appointments is online:
Online appointment - Administrative inquiries
Replies to purely administrative inquiries without health data are still possible via unencrypted e-mail. - Sending prescriptions
Directly to you: By encrypted e-mail using HIN Mail Global (instructions)
Directly to the pharmacy: Please inform us at which pharmacy you would like to fill the prescription.
Patients of our practice have the possibility to order medications from us and pick them up directly at our practice.
- Transmission of findings (e.g. laboratory results)
By encrypted e-mail using HIN Mail Global (instructions), possibly together with a comment and recommendation on how to proceed.
Please note that we cannot conduct any further e-mail correspondence. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your findings, please make an appointment for a consultation or telephone consultation. - Inquiries
Please always direct all inquiries to zollhaus@sanamea.ch.
Patients of Dr. Preschany and Dr. Temler please write to: gyn.zollhaus@sanamea.ch.
Please do not email our physicians directly.

New screening test to assess the risk of premature birth
If the pregnancy has worked out, many pregnant women are often plagued by worrying symptoms - combined with worries or even fears of a premature birth. Our experience is that a tug in the belly can cause great uncertainty. Today, conventional pregnancy tests can only vaguely determine how great the risk of a premature birth actually is. That is why we now have the Pregnolia system, which allows us to estimate this risk.
© Pregnolia
In the course of pregnancy, the cervix becomes shorter and softer. This is the prerequisite for a natural birth. Thus, the length and stiffness of the cervix give an indication of how soon a birth is imminent or whether there is a risk of premature birth.
© Pregnolia
NEW: Cervical stiffness measurement
While the length of the cervix can be easily determined in an ultrasound image, it has not been possible to measure cervical stiffness objectively in comparable figures until now. So far cervical stiffness has been manually palpated and subjectively assessed by so-called palpation. However, initial studies by Pregnolia showed that softening begins before shortening. This makes cervical stiffness an important indicator for quickly assessing a possible premature birth and, if necessary, initiating appropriate medical measures.
The measurement with the Pregnolia System is quick and uncomplicated. CSS, Helsana and Sanitas cover the new screening examination through their supplementary insurances. For all self-paying women, the examination costs CHF 150.
